Right now Revolution Books is renting month to month at below market rent. If a tenant able to pay market value appears, Revolution Books could find itself homeless on short notice. Sales continue to grow as more and more people discover this precious resource. But sales alone will not sustain us in a location accessible to the whole metropolitan area.

What would it mean at this excruciating time in the world to lose the one place in New York City where people can find the books and engagement about why the world is the way it is and how it could be radically changed?

We are determined that Revolution Books will NOT be the next in the long list of important bookstores in New York that are tragically disappearing from the scene. But YOUR determination is critical. To keep this vital resource open, accessible, and able to meet the political challenge facing humanity and the planet, Revolution Books needs to raise $125,000 beyond its current income stream.

This is the amount needed to guarantee a physical location for a multi-year term and to greatly expand our influence and outreach so that the store can truly become a center for a growing movement for revolution.

Revolution Books has existed since 1978 as a not-for-profit and has an all-voluteer staff. With your help, Revolution Books will continue and grow to meet this vital need.
