Schedule of Activities Building for April 11

Harlem: Celebrate the arrival of the Spanish edition of BAsics, Lo BAsico! Saturday, April 9, 11:00 AM. Meet at 125th and Amsterdam. Get the word our in Spanish speaking communities.

Washington Square Park: "BAsics Read-in," 2-5 PM, West Side of the Fountain. Read your favorite Bob Avakian quote! Bring blank poster board and tape.

Columbia University: every weekday, meet at 11 AM and 6 PM in Lerner Hall Café to be part of taking out the “All Played Out” mix tape featuring Bob Avakian and get word out about the Celebration of Revolution event and the BAsics book, sell tickets to professors and students.

HARLEM and NYU / DOWNTOWN Saturday, April 9-Sunday, April 10: ALL JUMP IN for the final weekend before April 11. Join and host volunteers coming from across the country in teams with sound, visuals, so that Harlem is full of the sights and sounds of BAsics and "All Played Out" [audio featuring Bob Avakian with music from William Shipp] and ticket sales go over the top.

Join team to reach out to people participating and attending this benefit for immigrant youth program, with Judith Sloan, Chris Kamau, Carl Hancock Rux, Universes, Catherine Hanna and others; hosted by WNYC's Brian Lehrer; honoring playwright/performance artist Deb Margolin and author/activist Ninotchka Rosca.
